Frank Mayhew Memorial

Winston “Frank” Mayhew, retired professor of history, joined Collin College in 2004 and retired in 2020. Prior to coming to the college, he worked for Southern Railways from 1973-2001. A medic in the Vietnam War, he retired from the Navy as a Petty Officer 3rd Class. Frank always had a positive attitude, endearing personality, and cared deeply for the college and his students. His contagious smile will always be remembered as well as his wonderful ability to share a good story and to
make each day brighter.
