Fred and Mazzie Moses Endowment

Fred and Mazzie Moses are leaders in the Collin County community. Fred was born in 1949 in South Carolina. Fred went to a community college and then received a full scholarship to the University of Bridgeport where he received his bachelor’s degree, He understood the importance of a community college education in the development of an individual and a community. In 1977 he was recognized for his community service in Bridgeport, CT. In 1985, Fred founded Telecom Electric Supply Company.

Fred Moses is also a minister at Shiloh Baptist Church. He is a member of the Collin College’s Committee of 100, Dallas Electric Club, Dallas/Fort Worth Minority Development Council and the Plano Day Care Center Board of Directors.

Mazzie Moses is Vice President of Telecom Electric Supply Company. She is dedicated to the community and quality of life, Mazzie is the president of the Plano North Metroplex Chapter of Links, Inc, and has served on Collin College’s advisory board and the National Council of Negro Women. Moses received the Athena award for exceptional leadership in business and in the community by the Plano Chamber of Commerce.
