Junior League of Collin County Endowment
The Junior League of Plano started in 1976 when 13 women came together to form an administrative committee, develop projects, and focus on fundraising events. Their service to the community began with Dental Care for underprivileged children and volunteering at the Swine Flu Clinic. Many outstanding projects have been researched, developed, and implemented throughout The Junior League of Plano’s 33 years of service. In addition, the League has been instrumental in bringing dynamic and national leaders to speak to the Collin County community. In 2010, The Junior League of Plano officially became The Junior League of Collin County to more accurately represent the community that they support. This endowment was established in 1996 in keeping with their objectives to improve the community through effective action and leadership.
