Tino Trujillo Endowment

Tino Trujillo was born in Mexico and worked for the Mexican government. He moved to the United States and served in the U.S. Army. In 1976, he opened Tino’s Mexican Restaurant and Cantina in Plano. He has won various small-business awards and was named Plano’s Outstanding Citizen in 1987. Tino has long promoted educational efforts, including through his volunteer work with Rotary International and as a a Board of Trustee member of Collin College from 1985 through 2014.
