Wilma Buschbom Memorial
Buschbom, Wilma Bernice (Sellers) was born in Green Mountain, Iowa, and later lived in Albert Lea, Long Lake, Wayzata, and Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. She was an active church member and served as an Elder in the Presbyterian Church for over 30 years. After retiring from the Carlson Companies in 1992, she found time for her imaginative interests, which included painting with watercolors and writing poetry. Family and friends always looked forward to receiving her hand made, fun, witty, and sometimes edgy greeting cards. Wilma made the most of life, whether times were good or challenging. She was a very social person who easily made friends with her fun sense of humor and good natured banter, often trading jokes and telling stories for hours at a time. In later years, as her eyesight faded, she enjoyed listening to books on tape, and became a huge Twins and Vikings fan.
